Established in 2002, Zaid Trading was founded by Eng Zaid Saleh Al-Ghamdi after his experience in the field of management and various types of businesses for more than 20 years. The primary operations of the company began with the trading of commodity metals such has Steel, Aluminum and Copper. Zaidâs education in Mechanical Engineering (King Abdulaziz University) added value to the operations of the projects, being of technical nature.

Traded scrap in Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Eritrea, Sudan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan & India. Supplied premium grade Heavy Melting Steel to Al-Etifaq Steel & Sabic, Saudi Arabia.

Operated in the Heavy Equipment machinery business between Saudi Arabia, Egypt & Sudan (Caterpillar, Lambert, Hitachi, Komutso, etc)

In 2008, Zaid Trading ventured into the Lubricants trading business being an authorized distributor for âStartexâ Oils & the exclusive agent of U.S. based âDrive Lubricants.â
