RFQ Details

Dear sirs, i have a comany name Qualitron in Portugal. We do mainly electronics for the gate automation Industry. At this time i have a request from a client to modify an existing system Sliding gate control unit) in order to be able to detect if the motor is running at normal spped or if it slowed down considerably or even to stpopped due to and obstackle. So i must make and adaption , thus i am looking for some kind of sensor that can detect and give me a pulse fo a rotating gear wheel. This wheel is made of steel and it has magnetic poles. I can only use the teeth to do some kind of measurement. As you can see this will be a retrofit kit and thus i need it small, robust ( it can not be optical due to very dirty environment) and reasonably cheap. The quantityes are very ineresting, if i can find a solution.
