Australian Innovator and Entrepreneur, Scott Boocock, created the
idea for the Heg to solve the backyard problems he experienced with
non-performing, cheap plastic and wooden pegs.
He developed an award-winning design with an Industrial Designer,
Andrew Whitaker, who helped bring the concept to life.
With the investment and support of a Marketing Specialist, Michael
Poolier, Hegs Australia was born and began sourcing product, then
supplying major supermarkets in Australia. SInce, this has spread
to New Zealand and UK/Ireland, and now discount department stores,
hypermarkets, hardware stores, department stores and specialty
homewares stores from around the world are registering interest.
