Sublimation is a printing method using special inks, heat, and pressure. Print digitally created graphics, photographs or scanned artwork from a desktop sublimation printer on to high quality sublimation transfer paper and use a heat press to transfer your full color, photo-realistic image to polymer-coated garments, ceramic tiles and mugs, wood, plastic name badges and license plates, metal and more.
Sublimated images have vibrant colors, are permanent and resemble a tattoo-like transfer, very soft on fabrics, without the feel of a decal. Sublimation ink is infused into the surface of a polymer coated imprintable resulting in a high quality, durable, digital image transfer.
With a desktop inkjet printer, sublimation ink and a heat press, you can professionally transfer full-color photographic images, logos and artwork to a wide variety of garments and promotional products.

What is Needed
A computer equipped with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Corel Paint Shop, good for photographs. A digital scanner and digital camera are also very useful.
An inkjet printer with sublimation ink cartridges and a high quality inkjet sublimation transfer paper to carry the printed image.
A Heat Press- heat transfer equipment can be a flat press, cap, mug or plate press depending on what you intend to imprint.
