By merging laser powder sintering technology and casting technology, through the three-dimensional model of the parts,It can quickly create parts of the "wax mold" and quickly create a metal parts without mold, to achieve the integration,automation and  quickly of the casting process. The applications of laser powder sintering rapid prototyping system  will greatly shorten the development cycle of new products, saving R & D costs.

The brief technical route of the rapid-precision costing technology is as follows:

(1)Fabrication of PS prototype on SLS laser sintering equipment,the PS based mold is obtained by infiltrating wax, then using the investment casting process, through the shell, casting, and cleaning the shell to get the precision castings.

(2)SLS laser sintering equipment is used to make the coated sand material shell and core prototype. Then, the shell is combined with the core, and the precision casting is obtained by casting and cleaning the shell.

Rapid prototyping technology has a strong flexibility to be able to meet the market in small or even single production. Rapid prototyping technology is based on discrete / accumulation principle, through the slicing software, the 3D CAD model of complex parts is discretized and sliced in a certain way to be a simple and machinable discrete surface (two-dimensional plane), discrete lines and discrete points, And then use laser sintering to form these discrete faces, lines and points to form the overall shape of the part - "rapid prototyping". In recent years, rapid prototyping has been developed for rapid mold manufacturing and rapid manufacturing, these technologies can greatly shorten the product design and development cycle, to solve single or small batch parts manufacturing problems.
