~~NEW: There is no need to buy an open company license any longer, but we offer cheap individual subscriptions for our online system abacus4u, too.

First, there is our ”Abacus  IEEE” calculation program which solves your sizing problems currently  using three different IEEE standards,
• IEEE **5 for Lead acid batteries
• IEEE ***5 for NiCd batteries
• IEEE ***8 for NiCd batteries in railway applications
Integrated in our software, there are several extensions to the IEEE standards mentioned, to work around some short comes of these, i.e. load profiles with power loads can be calculated much more accurately than using the IEEE suggested method directly.

In addition, we can provide the “Abacus Rack” rack & cabinet sizing application which will be tailored to your own racks and/or cabinets.

Last, we have “Abacus Curves” as an analysis tool based on real discharge curves, that simulates a battery’s discharge process including mixed loads (current, power, resistance).

Our software ABACUS has been in use for nearly *0 years (constantly developed further, of course), and it has been licensed by several companies all over the world, in Germany, in Europe and even in India.
Our software ABACUS is very fast, doing up to *0 calculations per second, giving you the chance to your project data, fire the “Calculate” and be able to compare all possible solutions after a very short period of time.
Our software ABACUS strictly separates data and code, giving you the opportunity to extend or change your batteries’ data without the need to send out a new version – just update the database, online and automatic as an additional option, and that’s it.

Please feel free to download some of the information depicted hereafter. All of it is available in English, some in German, too.

If you will license our ABACUS, we probably will be able to create a version in an additional language for free – provided your help with translating the texts needed.
