Spiral bands (abrasive sleeves) are spirally wound single ply of coated abrasive used on expanding rubber drums (rubber mandrels). The unique construction of spiral bands provides smooth, chatter-free operation, thereby giving the operator greater control of the tool. Sleeves are ideal for grinding, Blending, deburring, smoothing, finishing and polishing a wide variety of flat and contoured surfaces, including the inside of holes and other hard-to-reach areas. Also effective on hardware with contours or intricate shapes. It can be effectively used on metal, glass & even wooden surfaces. Application: Finishing curved or contoured areas and other hard to reach areas. Removing parting lines, imperfections, and burrs on all surface. Benefits: -Easy to change-no tools necessary. -Prevents skipping and bumping. -Band locks on non-slip rubber mandrel. -Easy use; reduces down time. Availability: Available in a diameter ranging from *2 mm to **0 mm with a width of 3 mm to *0 mm. Other sizes are available on request.
