These heavy duty winches are used
in the offshore field. They are installed on the Anchor Handling
tugboats which performs platform assistance tasks, often under
severe weather conditions. Most ANCHOR HANDLING TOWING WINCHES are
in waterfall configuration, only a few are side to side
layout.
HSM Anchor Handling Towing Winches are designed
and manufactured according to clients specification and class
rules. They can be equipped with spooling device, warping heads,
chain wildcats, load/length measurement device, and camera/monitor
at site. These winches are mostly powered by hydraulic, but the
electric drives are also available, mastered by variable frequency
controllers.
