Powder resins are essentially modified or unmodified solid phenolic novolacs that are ground with the crosslinking agent, mainly hexamethylenetetramine (Hexamine) , to a powder consistency and mixed with other additives depending on the application needs. Major application areas • Brake linings & Clutch Facing. • Processing and reinforcement for rubbers like natural nitrite and SBR etc. • Heat resistance brake linings. • Grinding wheel. • Shell moulding for making foundry moulds and cores. • Bonding of cinema arc carbon & cinema electrodes. • Lamp capping cement. Packing , Handling & storage Packing : *5Kgs. nett laminated polyethylene bags. Handling : It is advisable to wear a dust musk while emptying the bags. Hands should be thoroughly washed at the end of the working day and before meals. Storage : Storage in cool and dry place at **0c gives stability for 6 months.
