Introduction

The Cast Iron Surface Plate is called Working Platform(working plate),Worktable.

The gross structure of Cast Iron Surface Plate (worktables) is divide into box type and rib type.

The shape of working surface is rectangle,square and roundness.According to the precision machining,Its divided into finish plane and scraping. 

There are V-Slots,T-Slots,U-Slots,dovetail slots,round holes,slotted holes etc.The material is HT******0 etc,the working surface hardness is between HB**0 and HB **0.

There are two tempering treatment (artificial annealing (seasoning):**0 to **0 centigree,natural seasoning:2 to 3 years to keep the platesstability and abrasion resistance.According to national standard metrological verification regulation regulation,the accuracy class of plates are divided into 0grade,â… grade,â…¡grade,â…¢grade.And the plates can be machined on the working surface of plates. 

Application

The Cast Iron Surface Plate is the benchmark measuring tool which can be applied to testing ,lineation,assembling,welding,installing and rivet welding for the workpieces and equipments.

Production Process Routing 

1. According to customer requirements to design drawings.

2. According to drawings to design the foam model (lost foam) and wooden model. Meeting the drawing size detection (Because the drawings are the finished size, the models are roughcast size).

3. The general product is a foam model. For example, send the foam model to the casting workshop, to remove the wet gas in the foam model by drying, in order to against blow holes in the casting

4. After drying, brushing foundry coating to prevent casting defect such as burnt-in sand, sand burning. 

5. After the foundry coating is drying, then fill the model with resin bonded sand and the model will be buried into the earth for waiting to casting.

6. Before the completed casting will be take out, it must be waited for a period of time to be shaped. Then to clean the sand and deal with the casting sprue gate, the edges and corners and so on. According to the requirements, the small products can be burnished by sanding machines.

7. Have a castings material examination to ensure that we can produce the qualified products.

8. The first time drawing temper for the rough casting.

9. The rough machining for the products.
