2. Introduction about cutter suction dredger:
Dredgers can be designed to be self-propelled or non-self-propelled
Generally, it consists of operating cabin, main pontoon housing the diesel engine and the dredge pump, plus two side pontoons, the cutter ladder and two spud poles
Pontoons are equipped with swing devices, cutter ladder lifting devices, spud devices, deck crane
Optional equipment:
-Anchor booms (2 booms per each dredger)
-Spud trolley (carry spuds automatically)
-Submerged dredge pump (to increase the dredging depth)
