Biomass briquettes/white coal are made from agricultural waste and are a replacement for fossil fuels such as oil or coal and can be used to heat boilers in manufacturing plants. Moisture content of a briquette can be as low as 3.*9%, whereas green firewood may be as high as *4%.... The need to find alternatives to fossil fuels and reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions has peaked interest in white coal by energy specialists around the world. In India, white coal are mainly used as a Fuel source, in major industries .numerous studies have shown that Biomass briquettes/white coal have significantly less impact on the environment than fossil based fuels .and this is next generation boiler fuels for industries.
