Starting from agriculture with salt fields in Indonesia, it has become one of the industrial sectors that absorbs a lot of Indonesian labor through salt farming activities.  After being processed by evaporation it becomes krosok salt.  which can fulfill various needs such as food supplements, industry, animal husbandry and agriculture.  Salt containing the compound Potassium Iodate (Iodized Salt) is an important nutrient that must be consumed regularly by humans.  The amount of salt that must be consumed per day for each person is approximately 9 grams.  .  which is produced manually by evaporating water to obtain a NaCl content of *7%.  which contains levels of Ca and Mg.

 According to SNI (Ministry of Industry, ***0), the function of salt

 grouped into two groups, namely:

 1. Consumable salt, is salt that is used internally

 household consumption, fish preservation industry, and industry

 food.  Consumable salt has a NaCl content of *7%.

 2. Industrial salt, is salt used in industry

 leather and textile tanning, oil industry, to

 pharmaceutical salt industry.

 the seawater evaporation process is carried out in the evaporator area and the crystallization process is carried out in the crystallization area so that good quality salt is obtained.
