Cystatin C (CysC) detection reagent (immunoturbidimetry)
Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is the most direct index to detect
renal function. GFR decreases in the early stage of nephropathy.
Creatinine clearance rate is commonly used to evaluate glomerular
filtration rate in clinic. Creatinine is specific but has low
sensitivity. Moreover, its increase is greatly affected by muscle
weight, body surface area and dietary intake, that is to say, age,
gender and high will affect creatinine amount. Cystatin C (Cys-C)
is a small molecular weight caspase inhibitor in human body. All
nucleated cells can stably produce cys-c. Cys-C is a very stable
indicator of glomerular filtration rate, because it is almost
completely filtered by the glomerulus, then re absorbed by the
renal tubules, and the renal tubules do not secrete or excrete
through the renal tubules. Cys-C was not affected by inflammation,
gender, muscle and age. Therefore, CysC is better than creatinine,
which can better reflect the specific index of GFR. At present,
Cystatin C has been used as a target of renal function and renal
injury at home and abroad.
This reagent can be used to detect the content of cystatin C
(Cys-C) in human blood.
Detection principle
Cys-C in the sample reacts with the latex particle reagent of anti
Cys-C antibody in the reagent to form antigen antibody complex to
produce turbidity. The absorbance of Cys-C in the sample is
measured at the wavelength of **6nm, and the change degree is in
direct proportion to the Cys-C content in the sample.
Packaging specification: according to customer requirements
Storage conditions and validity
The reagent 2 - 8 ℃ can be stored in a sealed and dark place for
*2 months without freezing.
Pay attention to avoid pollution for the opened reagent. The
reagent is stable in the instrument bin (**8 ℃) for *0 days.
