STONE-AGE FIGURINES In ***2 a cache of unusual stones washed out of an Illinois cornfield. Spear points found with them suggest they were buried in the Stone-Age *1,**0 years ago! These stones stack to make meaning figurines – some extinct animals, others of human forms such as Shamans and Venuses. Dancing Woman Dancing is a human expression of happiness (and sometimes agitation). Breasts swaying with the chant, this beautiful figure seems to glide towards the viewer.
