Characteristics

Produced from natural dates that are cleaned and pitted by hand, the macerated pieces are extruded through a fine screen.  The paste possesses a sweet odor and flavor, free from musty, moldy, earthy, and other undesirable off-flavors. No anti-oxidants, additives, sulphating agents, or artificial flavors are used. 
To produce  Date Paste, dates fruits pass through the process of separation of calyx and seeds, cleaning, drying, moisturizing, polishing, sterilization, pressing, cooling, grading, and packing as major production steps. 

Date paste is made in a way that all the nutrients and goodness in the dates are preserved. The thick paste is sweet and great for making cakes, biscuits, muffins,fruit bars and desserts. Dates are good sources of vitamins, potassium and fiber.
