Dokra is a unique form of art practiced primarily by tribals of West Bengal and Orissa. In this art form, the mould is used only once and the metal used is usually brass. It is nonferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique. This sort of metal casting has been used in India for over 4,**0 years and is still used.
