These levelers are mounted to the outside of the face of the loading dock and are an economical alternative to portable plates for medium traffic loading docks. They are suitable where the height differences between warehouse floor and vehicle floor are minimal and is an ideal replacement for unsafe and out of date dock-plates. As such, they're the most economical and typically the easiest levelers to install. Their drawback is limited size and weight capacities.
