 AC electronic ballast: AC electronic ballast is a device increasing the AC frequency of a power source, which starts and stablizes one or several lights.

 Electronic ballast saves more power compared to traditional inductive ballast due to following four reasons.

 Low self power consumption. The power of inductive ballast for various gas discharge lamps is about *0% of total power. However CMH with electronic ballast can make it lower than 7%, a remarkable power saving.
