Engineered wood is also called reconstituted decorative lumber. Plantation forest or common species timbers are used as raw materials with the help of CAD and dyeing, pressing, anti-ecological effects and de-bug treatments to create high quality decorative materials featuring the rare species timbers grains and colors without changing the natural characters and micro-structure of the timbers. Engineered wood can have the simulated grains of rare species timbers and has the features of insulating, temperature regulating and humidity regulating. Compared with natural timber, the properties of Engineered wood are as following: 1. Variety of colors and grains and patterns The grains and patterns of Engineered wood are very colorful, vivid and active and some of the grains and patterns are designed by CAD, which are able to meet individual needs and tastes. 2. Superior Quality The specific gravity and modulus of rupture of Engineered wood is better than that of natural wood respectively. Further more, Engineered wood is easy for further usage because of the anti-ecological effects treatment, de-bug treatment and water-proof treatment. Random width size is available upon request, which cracks the bottleneck of diameter limitations of natural timbers.
