Eucalyptus deglupta

Considered as the rainbow tree on account of its bark color resemble like a rainbow in the sky, and changes its bark annually, It is resistant to pest like tip-die-back, varicose borer, and leaf blight. It has straigh cylindrical bole  with well balance branches of the tree canopy. It is fast growing best for commercial tree plantation, tree farming, and agro-forestry where interplanting along the lines is possible with other crops like coffee, rubber and cash crops. Rehabilitation of denuded watershed areas, Mines disturbed areas both in low land and higher elevation portion of the forested areas. The wood is good for house construction, furnitures, and a source of wood materials for processing plants, lie fiber board, veneer and plywood.
