HongyuanTM fire-retardant SBS-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane consists of a felt (made from continuous filament polyester fibers or E-glass fibers) saturated and coated on both sides with SBS (styrene butadiene styrene) modified asphalt to which a highly effective fire retardant is added. Both surfaces of the membrane is covered with fine sand or mineral granules. The end result is a relatively strong and heavyweight material with not only all the proven advantages of common SBS-modified bituminous waterproofing membranes but also superior fire-resistance.

These products are particularly suitable to the waterproofing of industrial and civil buildings that have special demand for fire protection and prevention.
