This high quality flame-retardant coating is a single component intumescent paint. While exposed to high temperatures, a CPC****-based coating swells thirty-to-fifty-fold and produces non-combustible heat-insulating foam that ensures the fire protection of steel structures. Its flame- retardant composition is a suspension of pigments as well as active and passive reagents with modifying additives in a stabilized organic solution of chemically-synthesized polymer resins.

Without any additional protective-decorative coatings, the service life of CPC****-based finishes spans no less than *5 years after application.
