Cloth spray shields are manufactured from standard Teflon, Clear Teflon, Polypropylene, PVC and Polyethylene.

Clear Teflon permits easy inspection of flanged joints. Sometimes the clear teflon is provided only as a center strip. When visual inspection is not possible the shields are often provided with a leak indicating or pH patch. The patch signals a leak and changes color towards red in the presence of acid or towards green in an alkali. The leak indicating or pH patch is replaceable and allows reuse of spray shields.

Spray shields cloths are UV stabilized and resistant to the outdoor weather effects. Cloth spray shields are installed by means of Velcro fasteners and drawstrings. Cloth spray shields are available for all standard
