FLORAL FOAM (open-cell phenolic foam)

Floral Foam has been specially developed to keep flowers fresh and healthy for longer periods and to reduce frequent watering. It has excellent water retention properties

created by phenolic aldehyde resin and can be used in many types of buildings such as florists shops, hotels, offices and of course the home. Floral Foam is also a very useful flower arranging aid. It soaks up water like a sponge and acts both as a preservative to prolong the life of the flowers as well as a support to hold them in place. It is green in color and usually is supplied in a brick shape.
