1. Wettability
When pouring, liquid foam can cover the surface and pores of the coating immediately. Meanwhile, under the negative pressure, the liquid foam can be discharged from mould cavity quickly and effectively, which can improve the fluidity of molten metal and reduce the amount of gasification in the mould cavity in order to reduce the recarburizing of casting surface (resolvent free carbon). At the same time, this coating will have a very good performance in casting technique like blowhole and sag which related to high wetting requirements.
2. Gas permeability
Conducive to the release of pyrolysis products. Eliminate elephant skin and blowhole on the casting surface.
3. Intensity and refractoriness
Outstanding high temperature anti-burst properties can reduce number of substandard products caused by collapse, sag and entrapped coating. Due to its strong disposable peeling, for some large castings, cleaning may be exempted and we can get flat and smooth surface after the shakeout completed.
4. Coated hang and suspension
Coating with higher yield value and plastic deformation capability, good rheological and coated hang property makes the corner difficult to produce accumulation and a uniform coating can be formed on the surface of the white foam. What’s more, outstanding suspension performance can prevent the formation of deposits, layering or harden to form uniform coating.
