Gabion box is made of PVC/Galvanized Hexagonal Wire Netting. Rock manufacturers galvanized hexagonal wire netting using the mild steel wire with a minimum tensile strength of *5kg/m2.The wire can be galvanized to a maximum of **0 g/mm2, giving good rust-preventing and anti-oxidizing properties and prolonging the service life of the netting.
PVC coated hexagonal fencing outer coating of polyvinyl chloride polymer over the galvanized wire. This provides an extra layer of protection against corrosion. The polymer can be colored in various shades of green and black to blend naturally into the surrounding environment.
Those products are widely used for building, oil industry, farm, transportation, garden fencing and food processing, ect. Different galvanized thickness, wire diameters, mesh length and mesh width are available upon request.
 Gabion Mats (Reno Mattress)
The Reno mattress is a structure made of hexagonal double twisted wire mesh. Reno mattresses are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible and permeable, monolithic structures such as river bank protection and channel linings for erosion control. The steel wire used to manufacture the mattress is heavily zinc-coated soft temper steel. The standard combinations of mesh is shown in Table. In order to reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter. Reno mattresses are divided into uniformly partitioned cells by internal diaphragms.

All sizes and dimensions are nominal. Tolerances of ± 3% of the width, length, and ±2.5 cm of the height shall be permitted
 
Gabion Baskets (Stone Box)
Gabions are baskets manufactured from 8x*0 double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh, as per ASTM A*****7 Gabions are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, channel linings, and weirs for erosion control projects. The steel wire used in the manufacture of the gabion is heavily Galfan (zinc*5% aluminum-mischmetal [Zn*5 Al-MM] alloy) coated soft temper steel. A PVC coating is then applied to provide additional protection for use in polluted, contaminated or aggressive environments: in salt, fresh water, acid soil or wherever the risk of corrosion is present. The PVC coating has a nominal thickness of 0.*2 in. (0.*0 mm). The gabion is divided into cells by diaphragms positioned at approximately 3 ft (0.9m) centers. To reinforce the structure, all mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire having a greater diameter. Gabions shall be manufactured and shipped with all components mechanically connected at the production facility.
