There are two types of garcinia available in Thailand. They
are Garcinia Atroviridis and Garcinia
Cambogia. Garcinia is one of the known superfruits with
high antioxidants. It is also well known for weight control
capability. The naturally occurrence of active ingredient
hydroxycitric acid or HCA is responsible for fat burning and
appetite cutting back. Therefore, many garcinias are now used as
health food and supplements. Garcinia also contains
bioflavonoids, malic acid, polyphenols and vitamin C.
