Glow wire tester is designed to carry out flammability test as per IEC *********0 & bs en *********0 This test is also referred in IEC ****5, IEC **4/*4, IEC ***8, IEC ****8, IEC ****8, ul **6a, & en *********1,*2 Introduction: Scr elektroniks have developed glow wire apparatus to carry out tests specified in safety standards to check the "resistance to fire" in the moulded insulator material parts of electrical accessories like switches, wires, mcb, elcb, etc. Testing of the accessories with regard to fire hazard is to create exactly the conditions occurring in practice. For practical purposes, flammability of electro-plastic parts/products is tested by simulating, as closely as possible, the actual effects occurring in practice.
