 1.Introduction
There are two main types of grain dryers: they are concurrent flow grain dryer and mixed flow grain dryer.
Concurrent flow grain dryer is mainly used to dry raw material with high moisture such as corn. Mixed flow grain dryer can be widely used to dry various grains and oilseed, such as rice, wheat, corn, sorghum, soybean, rapeseed. 
Concurrent flow grain dryer adopts concurrent drying and counter flow cooling technology. Mixed flow grain dryer adopts mixed-flow drying technology.
These two types can all be widely applied in grain depot, grain and feed processing plant, etc..

 3.Working process
These two types of grain dryers contain similar drying sections, tempering sections and cooling section, and each drying section is followed by a tempering section, to result a long and thorough drying.
They all adopt clean hot-blast as drying medium. The hot-blast goes through the inlet pipe and enters the inside of the dryer, and exhaust air will go outside through the angular boxes.
Raw grain flows slowly from top to bottom by gravity, and gradually fill the angular boxes. Then the hot-blast is sent into the dryer from every inlet pipe, drying materials from top to bottom. If the hot-blast flows as the same direction with materials, it is named as concurrent grain dryers; if the hot air flows as the different way with materials, it is named by mixed flow grain dryer.
