Habitrol Gum

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Habitrol® chewing gum:
Habitrol® chewing gum and patches help reduce your cravings for nicotine and withdrawal symptoms. Habitrol® releases a controlled amount of nicotine into your system, approximately one third less nicotine than a cigarette and without the awful chemicals and harmful physical effects. Controlled nicotine intake increases your chances of being able to quit smoking compared to going cold turkey. Habitrol® gum and patches contain approximately one third less nicotine than a cigarette, and allows you to avoid the harmful physical and chemical effects associated with smoking. The recommended minimum length of treatment is three months. You can follow the recommended **-week dosage program, or you can use the gum as needed. Consuming Habitrol® at the onset of nicotine cravings should alleviate nicotine cravings and/or withdrawal symptoms. Most people find they can cease using the gum after six months, but some heavy smokers choose to continue using the gum in order to prevent relapse.

Habitrol® patches:
Habitrol® patches are designed in 'steps.' Step 1 (*1mg) should be used for six weeks and delivers *1mg of nicotine over a **-hour period per patch. Step 2 (*4mg) should be used for two weeks and delivers *4mg of nicotine over a **-hour period per patch and step 3 (7mg) should be used for two weeks and delivers 7mg of nicotine over a **-hours period.
