Amtune HDMI Extender Set is a HDMI extender using Cat*5e/6 cable as transmission media. This enables easy HDMI installation over a long distance. Installer will also have the ability to customize the length by using this extender set. The system will auto adjust feedback, equalization and amplifier, the user does not need to care about the length of the cable. How does it work The X5/X6 HDMI Cat*5e/6 Extender transmitter unit sits close to your source, the receiver unit sits close to your HDTV display. Run two Cat*5e or Cat*6 cables between the transmitter and receiver. When the source, the receiver and the display are all powered on and connected, the auto-adjusting extender requires no manual turning or settings.
