Male hormones, commonly called androgens, have an effect on hair roots in men and women, and an intermediary product of this hormone, dihydro-testesterons, causes hair root damages and hair loss and bolding occurs. Due to differences in genetic programs, whereas hair in certain sections of the head displays sensitivity to this hormone, especially hair in the back of the head is more insensitive to this hormone and generally does not fall off. 

Elements required for healthy nourishment of hair follicles cannot reach the region because of insufficient circulation and hazardous wastes generated by the metabolism are not cleared away again due to insufficient circulation, and this leads to easy destruction of hair roots and hair loss. Again due to insufficient drainage in the lymph, metabolic wastes generated in that region is not cleared away adequately and this is the most significant reasons of hair loss.
