​Hexagon lock nut type:
(1) All metal lock nuts
The all-metal lock nut is to increase the friction between threads by the deformation of the bottom hole of the thread or the deformation of the thread shape to achieve the purpose of anti-loosening. The reliability of this kind of nut is relatively high under vibration condition. Lock nuts of different metal materials can be applied to different temperature conditions. However, because of the deformation resistance of the metal material itself, the deformation of the all-metal nut is not well controlled, which will lead to a relatively large divergence of the anti-loosening torque, and it is easy to die in the assembly.
(2) Non-metal insert locking nut
A non-metallic insert nut is a nut whose threaded hole is embedded with a non-metallic material such as a nylon block. When this kind of nut is rotated, the thread of the bolt will be naturally squeezed into a spiral on the nylon ring, so that it forms a close fit with the bolt teeth, and produce friction resistance under the action of the nylon elastic force to achieve the purpose of anti-loosening. The assembly torque of the non-metal insert lock nut is relatively stable, and the anti-loosening is very reliable, which can be used in the occasion of shock vibration. However, it is not suitable for use in high temperature conditions, nor should it be used in inorganic acid or strong alkali environment.
(3) slotted closing lock nut
In the process of use, when the bolt is screwed into the nut, the end of the nut will be automatically stretched, and the thread will be closely matched and friction resistance will be generated under the action of the deformation force of the nut closure, so as to achieve the purpose of anti-loosening. The slotted closing lock nut has stable torque, good anti-loosening effect and can be used repeatedly. By changing the material of the nut, it can be applied to the working conditions at different temperatures.

The fastening nut has good anti-loosening performance and can be reused with high efficiency. It is especially suitable for use under various temperature and shock vibration conditions. The fastener lock nut should not be used for the soft connection.
