Characters of High-alumina refractory brick:
High alumina brick the temperature of refractoriness under load is normally above ***0~***0℃ that is higher than the fire clay brick and it increases along with the AL2O3 content enhances. Thermal stability is high and the refractoriness is more than ***0 ℃.For High alumina brick the thermal Shock resistance is mainly decided by chemical contents and its mineral micro-structure but its thermal shock resistant is worse than the fire clay brick. High alumina bricks have very good ability of anti-acidity, anti-metal fluid corrode and anti-oxidation.
Applications of High-alumina refractory brick:
High alumina bricks are used normally in industry furnaces such as lining of blast furnace, the hot blast stove, electric furnace roof, furnace and reverberatory furnace, rotary kiln lining. In addition, high alumina brick is widely used as open hearth regenerative checker brick, the plug head on casting system, nozzle brick, etc.
