PD-L1 (programmeddeath*1 ligand), also known as B*-H1, or CD**4, is a member of the B7 family of immunomodulatory molecules and is a transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of approximately *5 kD. Mature human PD-L1 is composed of a **0 amino acid extracellular region (containing 2 immunoglobulin-like regions), a *1 amino acid transmembrane region, and a *1 amino acid cytoplasmic region. The interaction between PD*1 and PD-L1 can inhibit the proliferation of T cells and at the same time inhibit their production of IL*2, INF-γ and IL**0. Recent studies have shown that the use of Anti-PD-L1 mAb in the body can regulate autoimmune diseases. Blocking the interaction between PD*1 and PD-L1 may provide a feasible strategy for future therapeutic regulation of antiviral immunity, antitumor response, and autoimmune diseases.
