IMD is an applied technology on injection molding surface materials, which combines the traditional injection molding technology with the post-processing technology to achieve an integrated molding. It breaks through the limitations of traditional plastic shell design and realizes the effects of COLORFUL, TEXTURE, and THREE-DIMENSIONAL RELIEF of colors or patterns, as well as the advantage of energy-saving and environmental protection, thus it is known as a Plastic Revolution of surface decoration industry. 
 
Two sub-types can be divided into on the basis of the applicability advantages of technologies:
IMR = In-Mold Roller
IML = In-Mold Label, etc.

IML Processing Procedures
1.Film heating
2.Heat forming with pressure, or high pressure forming
3.Mold cutting
4.Put the formed film pcs into mold cavity
5.Closure and injection 
6.Mold opening to complete the production of injection parts
