タイトルまたは説明

Boric Acid - Boric acid, also called hydrogen borate, boracic acid, orthoboric acid and acidum boricum, is a weak, monobasic Lewis acid of boron often used as an antiseptic, insecticide, flame retardant, neutron absorber, or precursor to other chemical compounds. It has the chemical formula H3BO3 (sometimes written B(OH)3), and exists in the form of colorless crystals or a white powder that dissolves in water. When occurring as a mineral, it is called sassolite.
Boric acid was first registered in the US as an insecticide in ***8 for control of cockroaches, termites, fire ants, fleas, silverfish, and many other insects. The product is generally considered to be safe to use in household kitchens to control cockroaches and ants.It acts as a stomach poison affecting the insects' metabolism, and the dry powder is abrasive to the insects' exoskeletons.

Potassium Hydroxide- Potassium hydroxide is an inorganic compound with the formula KOH, commonly called caustic potash.Along with sodium hydroxide (NaOH), this colorless solid is a prototypical strong base. It has many industrial and niche applications. Most applications exploit its reactivity toward acids and its corrosive nature. KOH is noteworthy as the precursor to most soft and liquid soaps as well as numerous potassium-containing chemicals.Commonly used in the production of Biodiesel.Produced in a non-mercury cell process.

Sodium Carbonate Light (Soda Ash Light)- Sodium Carbonate also known as Soda Ash, washing soda or soda crystals is a sodium salt of carbonic acid and occurs naturally in the burnt ashes if many plants. it is a strong alkali and forms a strong alkali solution when dissolved in water, this makes it very useful in industry and is used for many industrial processes today. Soda ash is a cost effective method of water softening by preventing heavy metals from binding to it. Commonly used in laundry as it competes with the magnesium and calcium ions in hard water, saving the need for extra detergent. Also known as washing soda, soda crystals, or sal soda in the detergent section of the stores it effectively removes oil, grease and alcohol stains.

Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash Dense) - Sodium Carbonate is a sodium salt of carbonic acid and occurs naturally in the burnt ashes if many plants. Sodium Carbonate is a strong alkali and forms a strong alkali solution when dissolved in water, this makes it very useful in industry and is used for many industrial processes today. Sodium Carbonate is commonly known as Soda Ash, Washing Soda or Soda Crystals. Sodium carbonate is a cost effective method of water softening by preventing heavy metals from binding to it. Commonly used in laundry as it competes with the magnesium and calcium ions in hard water, saving the need for extra detergent. Also known as washing soda, soda crystals, or sal soda in the detergent section of the stores it effectively removes oil, grease and alcohol stains. Sodium carbonate can help latch onto those troublesome smells and neutralise them, from a pinch in the armpits to help avoid bad body odour, sprinkling into your pets litter tray to help neutralise the smell, or sprinkle onto your carpets, leave for thirty minutes and hoover to create a fresher feel (this helps clean out your vacuum cleaner also)

Sodium Metasilicate Pentahydrate -Sodium Metasilicate mainly used in high efficiency detergents and metal cleaners. It can help raise cleaning efficiency and reduce environment pollution. Can be used as an alkaline buffer, prevent corrosion for metal and function as a water softener.Commonly used in the pulp and paper making industry, it is used in sizing and coating paper. When coupled with hydrogen peroxide it is used in the cellulose bleaching process and this acts as a buffer and stabilizing agent. Sodium Metasilicate mainly used in high efficiency detergents and metal cleaners. It can help raise cleaning efficiency and reduce environment pollution. Can be used as an alkaline buffer, prevent corrosion for metal and function as a water softener.

Sodium Sulphate (Anhydrous) -The glass industry provides a significant application for sodium sulphate, as second largest application in Europe. Sodium sulphate is used as a fining agent, to help remove small air bubbles from molten glass. It fluxes the glass, and prevents scum formation of the glass melt during refining.
Sodium sulphate is used for dyeing textiles. It is an ideal compound for this purpose, because it does not corrode the stainless steel vessels as sodium chloride (which can also be used in this manner) does. Sodium sulphate is a leveling agent, reducing negative chargers on the fibers, which allows the dyes to penetrate evenly.

Another use for sodium sulphate compound is in the Kraft process, also known as the sulphate process, of wood pulp manufacturing which is widely used to make paper products and building supplies.
Sodium sulphate is used in many laundry and detergent products.
In the labratory, anhydrous sodium sulphate is widely used as an inert drying agent for removing traces of water from organic solutions. It is more efficient, but slower-acting, than the similar agent magnesium sulphate. It is only effective below about *0 °C, but it can be used with a variety of materials since it is chemically fairly inert. Sodium sulphate is added to the solution until the crystals no longer clump together but some crystals flow freely once a sample is dry.
  • As an additive to cattle feed.
  • De-frosting windows.
  • In carpet fresheners.
  • In starch manufacture

Caustic Soda Pearl -Industrial Cleaner. Sodium hydroxide is frequently used as an industrial cleaning agent where it is often called "caustic". It is added to water, heated, and then used to clean process equipment, storage tanks, etc. It can dissolve grease, oils, fats and protein based deposits. It is also used for cleaning waste discharge pipes under sinks and drains in domestic properties. Surfactants can be added to the sodium hydroxide solution in order to stabilize dissolved substances and thus prevent redeposition. A sodium hydroxide soak solution is used as a powerful degreaser on stainless steel and glass bakeware. It is also a common ingredient in oven cleaners.
Sodium Hydroxide has been considered one of the strongest household cleaners available. Has a wide variety of uses from unblocking drains, stripping paint right through to cleaning your ovens or being used as an industrial strength degreaser. The purity of our sodium hydroxide (minimum *9% Sodium) makes it excellent for soap making also.
Sodium hydroxide is widely used in pulping of wood for making paper or regenerated fibers. Along with sodium sulfide, sodium hydroxide is a key component of the white liquor solution used to separate lining from cellulose fibers in the kraft process. It also plays a key role in several later stages of the process of bleaching the brown pulp resulting from the pulping process.
