Brief Introduction 

Spiral classifier, which can also be called spiral separator, is one of the ore dressing equipment which classifies the materials using the principle that different solid materials have different settlement speed in the liquid due to the difference in proportion. Spiral classifier is also called classifier for short. The classifiers can be divided into high weir type, single and double spiral, and immersed single spiral and double spiral type.

Working Principle
 

According to the principle that different particle sizes with different proportion have certain terminal velocity, the fine particles float on the water and overflow out while the coarse particles sink to the bottom and then they will be pushed upward and discharged. The powders will be filtered, with the substandard particles screwed into the feeding port by the spiral vanes and the fine ones discharged from the overflow pipe. The head of the screw axis and the shaft adopt the pig iron cover, which is wear-resisting and durable. There are manual and electric lifting devices separately.
