Cocoa beans are the dried
and fermented seeds of the Theobroma
cacaoname,roughly translated from the Greek as "food
of the gods". Claims vary for the highest per capita
consumption by country, but what is clear is that the global
markets produced nearly 5 million tons of cocoa and the markets
still demand more product. DHK International specializes in
trading Grade 1 & 2 Forastero variety cocoa from the
Ivory Coast. There are two harvest seasons, each spanning several
months, so there is considerable flexibility for trading. Our
beans are packaged in **0 kg jute bags, with very low moisture (8%)
and derivatives (1.5%).
