Moreover, the LEDs save around *0 percent of energy compared to halogen lamps, thus contributing significantly to the reduction of CO² emissions. As a result, the use of our illuminants not only reduces your electric power consumption, it simultaneously reduces the cost that may occur for maintenance and replacement of conventional illuminants. This is a significant advantage in buildings with high ceilings or areas which are difficult to access.

Due to the low generation of heat of the LED you avoid risks like fire hazards and additional cost for thermal protection housings. The light-emitting diode is accordingly well suitable as furniture lamp. Given that the illuminant contains neither UV nor infrared components, it is particularly kind to the eyes and the skin. Consequently, pharmaceuticals and groceries are also not impaired. This also results in not interfering with the functionality of devices with infrared interfaces.

Our LEDs comply with the RoHS Directive, which restricts the use of hazardous substances: The light-emitting diodes are free of toxic substances like mercury or lead, which is why they can be disposed of as scrap and not as hazardous waste. Additionally, they are enclosed by a plastic-metal housing which is especially fracture-proof. By comparison, an energy saving lamp may leak toxic mercury after falling down from a low falling height. Both the material and the gas released thereby may lead to permanent damage of the central nervous system.

Free of flickering

Another advantage, especially for street lighting, is the fact that our illuminants are flicker-free. This prevents insects from being attracted by the light and then getting into the interior of the lamp and perishing there. Beyond that, the LED instantly develops its full light intensity upon start-up. Thanks to the semiconductor technology the illuminant even resists frequent switching on and off.
