    Differential shaft(friction shaft,air friction controlled rewinding shaft).This shaft is used for rewinding and the special unwinding of slitter machine.Is controlled its friction torque by compressed air.
    The differential shaft is structure by the mandrel and multiple sets of friction rings (differential rings).The friction ring can independent sliding,torque is controlled in central pressure or lateral transfer pressure.ensure every coil rewinding in a constant tension,its uniform and tidily from inside to outside diameter.
    Slitter machine is divided the whole material roll to many coils.It is required that the tension shall be correctly controlled,and this is the guarantee for the extension of product rate and transverse uniformity.
    In the proceeding,due to the materials own existence thickness error.each coil diameter produce larger accumulated error.it cause the tension and speed badly,each coil has a bigger difference,cause material coil elastic is differ,uneven, part of the coil is tensile because of excessive tension.Differential shafts can overcome these problems,can accurately control each roll material tension.Friction ring sliding at a certain friction torque,slide momentum just compensation speed difference.
    According to the material,slitting width,thickness,tension discretion,choose suitable differential shaft can achieve the ideal effect.Use differential shaft,slitting machine automation degree,human operation,speed,rewinding accuracy can be realized and improve.
