Lycium barbarum polysaccharide, also called Goji/wolfberry Extract, is one of the effective components of Goji/wolfberry, one protein contained polysaccharide of few plant polysaccharides. Lycium barbarum polysaccharides isolated from lycium barbarum, is composed of one polysaccharide side chain by six hexoses and one protein main chain by 18 amino acids, connected by glyan-o-der. This glycoprotein has biological activity and is a high strength immuno-enhancing agent.
