Uses

  1.Metallurgical industry: for the production of refractory materials and adhesive for bricklaying arm. It is the raw material for production No.2 flux and magnesium metal.
  2.Chemical industry: mainly used for the production of magnesium salts such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, disinfectant, frozen brine, and used as raw material for fabric, papermaking and antifreeze.
  3.Building material: for producing artificial marble, magnesia tile, floor, ceiling, decorative sheet, fire-proofing board, ventilating ductshed support, partition board, bathtub, door and window frame, solar cooker, biogas digester, and etc.
  4.Machienry industry: in daily life, magnesia can be used in producing mechanical packing container, triangular mats and furniture, etc.
  5.Food industry: as additive for some foods.
  6.Transportation industry: as snow-melting agent with less corrosive to the vehicles.
  7.Pharmaceutical industry: "dried halide" made of magnesium chloride can be used in medicine.
  8.Pesticide industry: can be used in producing magnesium fertilizer, potassium-magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliant.
