EA Houle Inc. started in ***7 in Wickham, Quebec, Canada, when Jérome Houle manufactured his own barn cleaner on the family farm. In ***3, a 6,**0 square feet plant was built in Wickham. 
In its early days, the company concentrated its efforts in the production of barn cleaners and cow stalls. 
It was enlarged to *0,**0 square feet in the *0’s. At that time, GEA Houle Inc. manufactured three types of equipment namely, conventional barn cleaners, cow stalls and steel structures for farm buildings. 

n ***0, the company’s growing success and the addition of Underground Manure Transfer systems and power take-off agitator pumps forced the company to relocate in Drummondville in a modern *0,**0 square feet plant. Progressively, new products are marketed. These included a complete line of power take-off agitator pumps, free stall cleaners, electric pumps, manure spreaders and manure separators. 

Since ***5, the plant was expanded nine times. Today, close to **0 employees work in a **5,**0 square feet plant. The company’s market, which extended to North America, is now expanding in Europe and Asia. Its sales network include **5 dealerships supported by ten representatives qualified to fulfill the needs of progressive farmers. 

In April of ***7, GEA Houle Inc. becomes part of GEA Farm Technologies, an international leading manufacturer of milking equipment and division of the GEA Group. The transaction will strengthen the company's position as a leading company in North America and will accelerate its growth at the international level. GEA Houle Inc.  is proud of the quality of its equipment, its dealer network and its staff.
