MasterPave Rubber Interlocking Pavers is made from recycled tyre rubber. They are an attractive, non-slip, maintenance free and very durable flooring system.

Installation

MasterPave Interlocking Rubber Pavers are an easy to install product. Simply measure the size of your site, and then order the amount of paver’s required. They can be cut to size with ease by using a utility knife. Then lay the rubber pavers in your chosen design!

A good sub-base is crucial for best results when installing MasterPave Interlocking Rubber Pavers. Once you have excavated your site, add a layer off crushed stone aggregate as your base material. This will also ensure that your base is permeable. It will allow moisture to escape through the joints and evaporate into the base material. If you feel that your site requires more protection from moisture build-up, then it is recommended that you install a plastic perforated drain pipe.

MasterPave Interlocking Rubber pavers can be purchased with an inter-locking system for no fuss installation, or otherwise an adhesive will be recommended.

Pavers must not be allowed to get wet before they are installed. Rubber pavers are porous and absorb water that can cause them to expand. Just as pavers are not allowed to get wet before they are installed, they should not be allowed to absorb much sunlight before installation either. The reason being that thermal expansion or contraction can tend to create gaps.

MasterPave Interlocking Rubber Pavers have an open surface that is also absorbent to builder’s dust and paint and should be covered with a protective material if there is any other on-going work nearby. This will aid to preserve their original look also.

SOME GUIDELINES FOR MAINTAINING RUBBER PAVERS

Not only are rubber pavers easy to install, but they are virtually maintenance free. This means that there are no really time-consuming or costly routines that are needed to maintain their integrity for great rubber paved designs.

To maintain the rubber pavers, it is recommended to use a high pressure hose when washing the surface. This is the best method to use, however a simple sweep or mop is also very helpful in fulfilling this objective.

With regards to damage and repair, rubber pavers can be replaced with minimal cost and fuss. Damaged pavers can be easily removed without the need for any expensive labour, machinery or tools.
