Operational Principle
It is a rough filtration equipment, mainly by increasing inlet
pressure (generally 0.*0~0.*5 MPa) to force water through filter
material (anthracite, quartz sand) which is filled in the
closed pressure vessel. The external pressure applied is to
overcome the resistance of the filtering layer of the
filtering equipment.
Structure Features and Applications
KLF Pressure Filter is often used as a follow-up treatment equipment of inclined tube and floatation effluent and it can be used for purification of tap water or pretreatment of activated carbon treatment. This equipment has less backwash times (operation cycle is **2 times compared to common filter), small volume, low cost, convenient operation and management.
