Process flow:

Galvanizing pieces inspection-racking-pickling-rinsing-flux galvanizing assistant-drying-hot-dip galvanizing-water cooling-passivation-inspection- finished product
 

Process description:


Pickling: function is to clear oxide scale on surface and to guarantee the surface quality. It uses hydrochloric acid with concentration *2%**8% to pickle galvanizing parts under temperature *8ºC**1ºC and pickling time is about ****0min. There are 4 sets of pickling
tanks.

Rinsing: function is to reduce the influences of HCl and Fe3+ stick to the surface of galvanizing parts on the subsequent process. Water supply is from the water cooling tank and water outlet is continuous overflow.

Flux galvanizing assistant: function is to prevent the galvanizing parts to be oxidized in drying procedure and resolve surface of galvanizing zinc and zinc oxide in hot-dip galvanizing procedure. Flux solution is zinc ammonium chloride which is made of *0% of ZnCl2 and *0% of NH4Cl  by proportion 3:1, and flux galvanizing assistant time is *-
5min under temperature *0ºC**5ºC.

Drying: function is to remove moisture after flux galvanizing assistant procedure. Drying temperature is **0ºC and drying time is about 1min.

Hot-dip galvanizing: firstly solute zinc ingot by zinc pot with temperature **0ºC and remove scum manually. Then dip galvanizing parts completely to form zinc ash on the surface and then remove zinc ash and scum again by tools. Galvanizing thickness is about 5μm.

Water cooling: function is to cool galvanizing parts after hot-dipped. Size of cooling tank is same with rinsing tank and pickling tank. Cooling time is about *0S**0S. Part of water outlet is used for rinsing tank and part is reused after cooled by cooling tower.

Passivation: function is to creat protective film to slow corrosion. Passivation solution is made of  chromate, Water-soluble polyacrylonitrile and little sulfuric acid.
