1. Instruction

What is Micro silica
Microsilica or Silica Fume, which it is made from the oxidized silicon vapor of silicon iron or element
silicon with special dust catcher and final turn out amorphous SiO2 powder.
Average particle size of Microsilica is around 0.*5~0.*0μm, specific area is ****0~****0m 2 /kg, and they are with Strong surface activity.


2. Micro Silica Admixture Performance
Micro silica is used in Mortar and another refractory material
Micro silica play important role for upshaped refractories, performance are as following:
A. Traditional refractories have numerous pores. Microsilica can fill the pores, improve the bulk density and reduce porosity, and then strength is enhanced obviously.

B. Micro silica Admixture have strong activity, it can be colloidal particles with water. Adding appropriate amount of dispersant, it can help improving mobility and pouring performance.

C. Micro silica can react with water to —Si-OH, it is with high hydrophilic active. It can enhance the cohesion of refractories and improve the high temperature performance. Besides, it can extend the refractories life.
D. Micro silica instead of purity aluminum oxidation mud for refractories and then save much cost.
