Mimosa MER is soluble in cold and warm water. It is penetrating quickly, is exhausting and fixing well, and makes the colour of the leather light. If Mimosa MER is used in the retannage, it will fill the leather well, especially bellies and flanks. It will improve buffing properties, will create good polish effect and has good print retainability. Mimosa MER can be used alone, with other vegetable tanning extracts or together with synthetic (re)tanning agents. As tanning agent *0% (vachette) to *5% (sole leather) based on limed weight is recommended. In retannage of chrome tanned leather, ***5% can be used. To prevent risk of iron spots, the use of an iron sequestering agent (like EDTA) is recommended. Storage Mimosa MER should be stored in a dry and clean warehouse, and kept from sunlight.
